Who We Are
Navix is the financial execution layer for freight. We sit between the shipment and the payment, auditing every carrier invoice against what was agreed and turning it into clean, approved payables and receivables.
We think the freight back office should run by itself, so teams can focus on higher-value work like negotiating lanes, designing networks, and fighting for service levels instead of reconciling spreadsheets. Since our founding in 2021, 3PLs, brokers, and shippers have processed more than 15 million invoices and $16 billion in freight billing through Navix. Along the way they’ve cut manual hours by 82% and added $112 million in working capital.
Our platform is system-agnostic and API-first, so it plugs into the TMS and ERP systems our customers already use. We’re a fun team of industry veterans and logistics newcomers who keep things simple, partner instead of building walled gardens, and keep customers at the core of everything we build.
The Role
Navix is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical partner to our Sales team throughout the deal cycle, with a secondary role supporting existing customers alongside our Customer Solutions function. This role is almost entirely sales-facing: running discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements that show prospectives exactly how Navix will change their billing operations, before they sign. This is not an integration-building or software-development role — you’ll scope and speak credibly to technical concepts, APIs, and data flows, but you won’t be designing or writing integrations yourself.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Account Executives on technical discovery calls to understand a prospect’s current TMS, billing workflows, and pain points.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that speak directly to a prospect’s specific invoice auditing, rate-matching, and payment workflow needs.
- Design and run proof-of-concept engagements using prospect data to demonstrate measurable impact ahead of close.
- Represent Navix at industry trade shows and conferences, running product demonstrations and technical conversations with prospects.
- Provide lighter-touch technical support to existing customers — assisting with process reviews, configuration adjustments, and driving adoption of new features alongside Customer Success.
- Travel periodically for on-site customer and prospect meetings.
- Feed prospect and customer technical feedback back into product and solutions strategy.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role.
- A minimum of 2 years of real-world, hands-on experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation management operations — direct exposure to TMS platforms, carrier billing, or freight financial operations is required.
- Ability to run demos and proof-of-concept engagements independently, with minimal ramp-up time.
- Technical fluency — comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, and system integrations credibly with prospects.
- Strong presentation and consultative skills; equally comfortable in front of a hands-on billing team or a company executive.
- Willingness and ability to travel for customer site visits and trade shows.
Logistics
It is a fully remote position open only to candidates based in the United States. Periodic travel is required for customer site visits and industry trade shows.
